I'm CJ. I run LBV Painting in Kissimmee, FL, and I run Aerys Software, the operating system we built to run LBV. I'm the person on the other end of every sales call you'll book here, and the one who'll tell you the truth about what this software can actually do for your business. No vendor pitch. No hype. Just what I know works because I run it every day.
How this came to be
The story
Kissimmee
Property management was my first real job. I worked with a lot of small landlords, a lot of tenant coordination, a lot of email I didn't have time to write. AI was just starting to be useful, and I figured out fast that it could handle most of the customer-relationship work if I taught it how I'd write the email myself. That was the first time it clicked: this is going to change how small operators work.
LBV Painting
Then I founded LBV Painting. The same problem hit me harder. Emails piling up. Calendar conflicts I missed. Pricing that drifted because I was making decisions on the fly. I started bolting AI into everything I could, drafting estimates, tracking my calendar, building a pricing model the system would actually enforce. For a while that was enough.
The bottleneck
Then we grew, and the seams showed. Estimating took an hour-and-a-half per job. Follow-up was inconsistent, some leads I'd hit five times, others I'd forget for a week. Reviews stopped flowing because I was too busy to ask. Scheduling broke when crews changed. The duct-tape AI I'd built wasn't cutting it anymore. I needed real systems that worked together.
The build
So I built them. Estimating that uses photos and crew rates and finishes a quote in five minutes. Follow-up that runs without me thinking about it. Reviews that get asked for the second a job closes. Scheduling that knows weather and crew availability and reshuffles itself. AI woven through every piece, doing the work I used to do at 9pm on a Tuesday. After about six months I looked at what I had and realized, this isn't just my system. Other owner-ops are stuck where I was. They need this too.
The bigger picture
Aerys Capital
Aerys Software is part of Aerys Capital. Aerys Capital is the parent company, a small holding group that invests in trade businesses and operates them. LBV Painting is one of those businesses. Aerys Software started as the operating system for LBV, and now it's the operating system we deploy across every business Aerys Capital invests in.
We license it to outside owner-ops because the same playbook that works for us works for them. The software is the product. The proof is that we run our own businesses on it before we sell it to yours.

How we work
We're honest about what AI can do.
AI is not magic. Some things it does brilliantly. Other things, filling out forms behind logins, working around websites that block automation, replacing human judgment on hard calls, it can't. We tell you which is which before you commit, not after.
We use what we sell.
Every module on this site exists because LBV needed it. We don't ship features we wouldn't trust ourselves. If something on this site breaks, we feel it before you do, because we're running it on our own business too.
We deploy in 7-14 days, not 90.
Owner-ops don't have time for software vendors who treat onboarding as a six-month project. We get you live in two weeks or we tell you why it's not going to work for your business. No 90-day discovery phases. No "implementation consultants." Just deployment.
